Fatal Crash – I-84 Cassia County
Idaho State Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a 22-year-old Rupert man. After crashing his car, he stood in the eastbound lanes and was struck by a semi. Lanes were blocked for 5 hours.

Near Tamarack Resort, Rock Fire is 29% contained at 2,792 acres. Nearly 900 firefighters remain; evacuation notices in Valley County stay in effect.
