  • Victor Perez Police Shooting Update (Pocatello):
    Mayor Brian Blad gave an update on the April 5 police shooting. Victor Perez, shot nine times, was declared brain dead. His family removed life support after an April 12 vigil. Video of the incident has now been released.
  • Coeur d’Alene Town Hall Incident:
    Six men face charges for forcibly removing Teresa Borrenpohl from a town hall. The security firm involved lost its license. Borrenpohl plans to sue, citing civil rights violations.

  • Filer School District Bond Proposal:
    First meeting held for a proposed $52M bond for a new middle school and safety upgrades. Some residents objected over costs. The 20-year bond would cost $352 per $100,000 in property value. Next meeting: April 24.
